In the latest patch notes update for Mortal Kombat 11, NetherRealm studios confirmed that they are working on raising the 30fps cap to 60fps in certain areas.
Mortal Kombat 11 was lauched last month and since has been updated with multiple patches. Many PC players have noticed that certain close-up animations such as fatalities and fatal blows, as well as the entire Krypt mode, are capped at 30fps. The developers have heard the complaints and they shared a post on Reddit about the last patch saying that they are currently investigating ways to remove the 30 fps cap and unlock the framerate to 60fps for the entire game.
