Everything We Learned About Cyberpunk 2077 At E3 2019

Cyberpunk

CD Projekt Red’s upcoming vast dystopian world has our attention at E3 2019, and we’ve been rounding up every drop of info we can regarding the RPG.

While Keanu Reeves appearing on the Microsoft stage to unveil the release date is sure to be one of the biggest “E3 Moments” this year, his character in the game is more than a cameo. Reeves plays a digital ghost that regularly appears at your side over the course of the game, haunting your mind.

Features editor Kimberly Wallace spoke to quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, unearthing details about the game world and its six districts. An area known as the Badlands – essentially the city outskirts – is also a topic of conversation. Cyberpunk 2077 features a “street cred” system that lets you build a name for yourself, opening up new contracts and opportunities as you become well-known for your adventures. However, your rep could also hurt you if you’re trying to stay inconspicuous on a mission, so balancing your reputation could be an interesting feature.
